The NDCC Show Committee wishes to extend sincere apologies to exhibitors
in the Oriental Neuter Section for any distress caused as a result
of confusion in the selection of Best of Variety Oriental Neuter. 
This was due to timescale issues rather
than errors in the basic procedures which worked well in all the other Sections. 
We apologise particularly to the owners of Exhibits 299 and 300.

We are delighted that Mrs Brock brought her Decorated Pen, which we awarded
First Prize at the 2011 Supreme Show, to our Show on 21st January. 
It was absolutely stunning and must have taken days of effort to gather all
the photographs and artifacts which contributed to an outstanding display.

NOTICE RE PARKING AT THE 2012 SHOW

 

We are pleased to inform all exhibitors, judges, stewards and other

helpers that the Sports Centre management have agreed to allow

unrestricted parking within the Sports Centre grounds.  This will avoid

the need to use the adjacent School Car Park and will therefore be

much more convenient.  The Show Committee hopes that this new

arrangement will encourage more exhibitors to attend our happy

and popular Show.

 

Anyone who qualifies as Registered Disabled should send a copy

of their valid badge to the Show Manager together with a S.A.E., 

2 to 3 weeks before the Show so that she can send you a Pass

for the spaces close to the Sports Hall Entrance. 

The Show Committee hopes that this new arrangement will

encourage more exhibitors to attend our happy and popular Show.

NDCC members will have the opportunity to win one of  

23 engraved Special Trophies 

(pictured above) to keep in perpetuity.

Cats placed FIRST in each of the Notts & Derby Cat Club

Special Classes will receive a trophy engraved .....

As these are Notts & Derbys Club Classes, entry is limited to

NDCC members only. We hope all members will enter and any

Class with more than fifteen entries will be split and all the

Class winners will receive a trophy. Current and new members

should enclose their subscription for 2012 with your entry.

Any Exhibitor who is not currently a member of the Club can join

with their entry by completing the Application Form at the back

of the Schedule and forwarding it with your Entry Form,

and subscription, to the Section Manager.

This will cover membership until 31st December 2012.

Acceptance of new members will be subject to approval by the

Committee at the next Committee meeting.

Club members are able to enter the Show at preferential rates.  Non-members can join the Club with their entry by completing the Membership Application Form at the back of the schedule. Please include the appropriate subscription with your cheque covering the entry fees.  As well as entering the Show at the members' rates, you will also be eligible for the NDCC Special Trophy Classes and also qualify for the various Club trophies applicable to your cat's breed number.  
 
Under the revised rules of the Club (Rule 9a) members are requested to send their subscription with their Show entry in order to remain eligible to enter Club Classes and to qualify to receive any Club trophies they may win at the Show.
