We are
looking for a loving home for
"MAXIE" who has recently been taken into our
care. He is a twelve year old, very affectionate and sweet natured
domestic shorthaired cat, in excellent health.
Also with us and looking for a good home is "MITSY". She is a semi-long haired cat about ten years
old. Unfortunately she is deaf and needs a quiet home where there are no children and no other animals.
If you are
interested in giving one of these beautiful cats a permanent loving home please
contact our Welfare Officer,
Dina Buxton on
We also require a home for "CAPTAIN", a 14 year old Red Persian neutered male. He has
been sadly neglected, but with good care he will make a most affectionate
companion. He needs a secure, loving home and daily grooming. If you
have a home to offer this lovely boy please contact our Welfare Officer on 0115
9211308.
The four cats shown below
have all been found excellent homes during the past twelve months by our Welfare
Officer.
"SUNNIE"
has been found a loving home. He is a semi-long haired male neuter, and was found as a stray. After a period of advertising him he was not claimed, so he received a thorough veterinary check and is in excellent health.
We have also found a smashing home for "POTTER", a young, playful and affectionate
Domestic Shorthaired male neuter.

Established in 1989 the NDCC Welfare Fund, which depends mainly upon private donations, together with contributions from Charity Classes and a Welfare Stall at our annual Show, seeks to provide shelter, sustenance and veterinary care for distressed cats in emergency situations, and whilst awaiting new homes.
We have a limited amount of high standard accommodation, offering a comfortable environment for the cats in our care. “Found” cats that are not claimed, or cats that are released into the Club’s care by their former owners, are rehomed. Great care is taken to determine the suitability of potential owners, and to match cats and homes as closely as possible.
No healthy cat is ever put to sleep and we would only consider such a course of action, on veterinary advice, for a cat whose illness or injury has rendered its quality of life unacceptable.
Please contact Dina Buxton (Tel. 0115 9211308) if you need help to find a loving permanent home for a cat in need.
