SHOW SUPPORT

The Club provides additional interest for members by sponsoring Club Classes at as many Shows as possible, and by awarding special trophies to members' cats when they are made up to Champion or Grand Champion. We have also recently introduced additional mementos for owners of cats which attain the accolade of Imperial Grand Champion or Imperial Grand Premier  Members should write to our Show Support Secretary, Peter Chaffe, if any of their cats qualify for any of these awards.  Please enclose a large SAE for return of the award.   Peter's address is 19 Fairview Avenue, Underwood, Nottingham, NG16 5GD and his telephone number is 01773 763337.

We also award special trophies to the winners of the 23 Notts & Derbys Club Classes at our own Championship Show.  These trophies are for the lucky winners to keep in perpetuity as a permanent reminder of their cat's achievement.   Examples of these trophies which were awarded at recent NDCC Shows are shown below.

We have also  run a decorated pen competition at the GCCF Supreme Show for NDCC members in which there are three categories of decoration.
A winner and runner-up is normally selected in each category.  The three winners are then judged against each other and the overall winner in awarded the Shangari Trophy, which is held for one year until the next Supreme Show.
